Roveja (Slow Food)

The roveja is a small wild pea.

It was cultivated in Umbria, Valnerina, since ancient times.
The roveja, also called Roveglia, rubiglio, pea fields, basket, you can eat fresh or dried.
Our roveja flour is obtained by stone grinding.
It has a high protein content and is rich in carbohydrates, phosphorus, potassium and moreover is poor in fat.
